You undertake to bring the contents of this Privacy Policy to that individual's attention and to inform us promptly of any changes to their personal information or to your authority to act on their behalf.

19. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a security compromise that has, or may reasonably be suspected to have, compromised the confidentiality, integrity or availability of personal information in our possession, Rethink Africa will take reasonable steps to identify and contain the compromise and will notify the Information Regulator and the affected data subjects as soon as reasonably possible, in accordance with section 22 of POPIA, unless a body responsible for the prevention, detection or investigation of offences requests that notification be delayed.

20. Use of Photographs and Marketing Images

Photographs or video footage taken during a tour, event or activity booked through Rethink Africa may be used for promotional and marketing purposes, including on our website and social media channels, unless you notify us in writing prior to travel that you do not consent to such use. Where an identifiable individual objects to such use after the fact, Rethink Africa will remove the relevant image from future use within a reasonable time of receiving the objection.

21. Regulatory Compliance

Rethink Africa processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and, where personal information relating to individuals located in the European Union or United Kingdom is processed, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
